Métodos de hipertrofia hepática postoperatoria.ALPPS vs. embolización portal.

Resumen

Uno de los puntos principales a la hora de abordar el tratamiento de lesiones hepáticas es el volumen del remanente hepático que vamos a mantener en el paciente. Diversas técnicas han sido aplicadas para intentar hipertrofiar el remanente hepático de cara a una mejor recuperación es quirúrgica y a evitar una insuficiencia hepática que condicione la morbimortalidad del paciente. Analizaremos las mejores técnicas actuales que se utilizan para este fin.

Abstract

One of the main points at the time of approaching the treatment of hepatic lesions is the volume of the hepatic remnant that we are going to maintain in the patient. Several techniques have been applied to try to hypertrophy the liver remnant in order to improve surgical recovery and avoid liver failure that conditions the patient's morbidity and mortality. We will analyze the best current techniques used for this purpose.
